Regular rehearsals will take place on Sundays, 1:30-3:30 pm at Price Music Center, NCSU.  The 3:45 – 4:45 hour will be used on a regular basis for sectional rehearsals or master classes. Each member should plan to stay later at least once a month. The precise schedule TBD.

Musicians must make a serious commitment to attending the weekly rehearsals detailed in the calendar below and abide by the attendance requirements in the Jazz Ensembles Handbook. Everyone is expected to be ready to play at the beginning of a scheduled rehearsal and at the call time before a performance.

Important Dates
No one will be excused from a dress rehearsal or concert unless it is for severe illness or death in the family.

Concert Tickets
Fall Concert: Tickets at $10 for adults and $5 for children are sold through the Town of Cary. Advance tickets are available in person at The Cary (Movie) Theater Box Office,122 E. Chatham St. Cary, NC 27511 Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Town is opening the Box Office in the Cary Arts Center one hour before the concert.
Tickets are also available online for an extra charge through Etix
Spring Concert: Free of charge. Donations accepted.

Fall Dress and Concert Instructions
Dress Rehearsal 11/9 Arrive at Cary Arts Center at 4:00 and unpack in Dressing Room C/D located off of the Green Room downstairs. TYJO rehearses from 4:15 – 5:15pm.
Concert 11/10 Arrive at Cary Arts Center at 2:45 and unpack in Dressing Room C/D. TYJO will warm-up on stage from 3:05 to 3:30. Just prior to 4:00 concert, TYJO will take their seats in Row A. Map of Cary Arts Center

Concert Dress
only required for the concert, not dress rehearsal, and is as follows:
Black pants (no jeans), black long-sleeved shirt, long white tie, black socks and black shoes. Girls may wear a black blouse with black pants or skirt, or black dress.

Annual Participation Fees
Checks in the amount of $430 are payable to Philharmonic Association, or PA, Inc.
