Musicians must make a serious commitment to attending the weekly rehearsals detailed in the calendar below and abide by the attendance requirements in the Jazz Ensembles Handbook. Everyone is expected to be ready to play at the beginning of a scheduled rehearsal and at the call time before a performance.
Regular rehearsals are Sundays, 3:30 – 5:30 pm at St. Ambrose Episcopal Church, Raleigh. The first rehearsal will be at Cary Arts Center.
No one will be excused from a dress rehearsal or concert unless it is for severe illness or death in the family.

Fall Concert: Tickets at $10 for adults and $5 for children are sold through the Town of Cary. Advance tickets are available in person at The Cary (Movie) Theater Box Office, 122 E. Chatham St. Cary, NC 27511 Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-1 p.m.The Town is opening the Box Office in the Cary Arts Center one hour before the concert. Tickets are also available online for an extra charge through Etix
Spring Concert: Free of charge. Donations accepted.
Fall Dress and Concert Instructions
Dress Rehearsal 10/28 Arrive at the Cary Arts Center at 3:10 and unpack in Dressing Room A/B off of Green Room downstairs. TYJB will rehearse from 3:30 to 4:25.
Concert 11/4 Arrive at Cary Arts Center at 2:15 and unpack in Dressing Room A/B. TYJB will warm-up on stage from 2:30 to 2:55. TYJB will return to Dressing Room and wait till their time to take the stage.

Black pants (no jeans), black long-sleeved shirt, long red tie, black socks and black shoes. Girls may wear a black blouse with black pants or skirt, or black dress.
