Triangle Youth Symphony

The Triangle Youth Symphony is for young musicians to expand their musical skills. Its mission is to provide a stimulating atmosphere for its members to develop musical skills in a full-orchestra setting by working with professional musicians and performing great classical music. Playing ability and balance of instrumentation are the determining factors in the selection of members.

Membership is by audition held before the season in late August.

Triangle Youth Symphony concerts typically include performances of occasional arrangements and selections from original works in the standard symphonic repertoire. See examples of TYS Repertoire.
