Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before rehearsals to be tuned and ready to rehearse at the appointed time.
Checks in the amount of $160 are payable to Philharmonic Association, or PA, Inc.

Myriah Luke graduated from Meredith College in 2017. She is enjoying her first year as an orchestra teacher at East Millbrook Academy of the Visual and Performing Arts and was awarded the Diane Kent-Parker First-Year Teacher award in 2018.She has appeared as guest conductor for the Triangle Community Orchestra and the Meredith College Sinfonietta. During her tenure as a cellist in the Philharmonic Association from 2009 – 13, she performed in the Triangle Youth Orchestra, Triangle Youth Symphony and Triangle Youth Philharmonic.
Gina Ali: Gina was born in North Carolina and started playing violin at a very young age. Her love for music grew as she participated in local youth orchestras, including our own Triangle Youth Philharmonic. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Music degree from Meredith College, with an emphasis in Music Education. She spent ten years teaching strings in the San Francisco Bay Area and has since returned to teach for Wake County Public Schools. She started the Mission Attendance Area String Program in Fremont, California and was the Lower School Director of Music and Strings at Redwood Day School in Oakland, California. Gina has worked in various music positions in Wake County and is currently the orchestra director of Powell Elementary School in Raleigh. Gina has enjoyed playing with several chamber groups, the Appalachian Symphony, the Raleigh Civic Symphony, the Oakland Civic Orchestra and the San Francisco Sinfonietta.
