The Philharmonic Association is currently accepting applications for our 2020-21 Musician Intern Program!  If you are an eleventh or twelfth grader planning to audition for one of our orchestras or jazz bands in the fall, this program is for you.

As a member of our Musician Intern Program, you will have the opportunity to engage in all areas of arts administration.  You will get hands one experience in the areas of stage crew, videography and photography, social media, outreach, fundraising, event planning, musician library work, and more!  In addition to gaining experience in a broad variety of skills, you will also be able to tailor your internship experience to focus on the areas of management and administration of most interest to you.

Unlike many high school internships, our program allows you to play an active role in our organization. Our interns are responsible for running our Instagram and our Twitter,  planning and organizing our volunteer appreciation event, creating important videos like our venue accessibility series, and other influential activities. As a member of the intern team, your ideas are valued, your work trusted, and your skills put to good use.

If you want to gain valuable experience in the field of art administration or are looking to strengthen yourself as a leader or employee, consider applying for our 2020-21 Musician Intern Program.  This year, we have reduced the number of participants accepted onto the team in order to create a more involved experience for those accepted so apply sooner rather than later.  Visit our Musician Intern Page to find more info and access the application.
