The 2019-20 season will feature great repertoire for every instrument, increased opportunities to connect with fellow musicians and the community, and excellent performances.
To register for an audition for our three full orchestras or three jazz ensembles click here. Once you register and send in the audition fee, you will be notified of your specific audition date and time by hardcopy letter in early August. Call 919-645-8434 to request a waiver from the audition fee based on financial need. Full orchestra auditions will be taking place August 19th though the 22nd at Athens Drive High and auditions for our jazz groups will take place on August 18th and 25th.

Oboe: Monday, August 19
Clarinet: Monday, August 19
Bassoon: Monday, August 19
Horn: Wednesday, August 21 and Thursday, August 22

Trombone: Wednesday, August 21 and Thursday, August 22

Remember that we also offer two non-auditioned string orchestras: Triangle Youth String Orchestra for 4th grade and up and Triangle Youth String Sinfonia for grades 7-12. Use the same registration link for these ensembles, but make sure you select “String Orchestra” on the first page of the form.

Note that no musician is turned away for inability to pay the participation fee. Fees are waived for those in Free or Reduced–Price Lunch Programs. Documentation will be required for need-based financial aid.
