Regular rehearsals will take place on Sundays, 1:00 – 3:00 pm in the Searstone Community Ballroom. Musicians must make a serious commitment to attending the weekly rehearsals detailed in the calendar below and abide by the attendance requirements in the Jazz Ensembles Handbook. Everyone is expected to be ready to play at the beginning of a scheduled rehearsal and at the call time before a performance.
No one will be excused from a dress rehearsal or concert unless it is for severe illness or death in the family.

Fall Dress and Concert Instructions
Dress Rehearsal 10/29 Arrive at the Cary Arts Center at 4:20 and unpack in Dressing Rooms A/B off the the Green Room downstairs. TYJE will rehearse from 4:40 to 5:15.
Concert 11/5 Arrive at the Cary Arts Center at 3:30 and warm-up in loading dock and hallway. Come in concert hall just before 4:00, sitting in Row B. Bass and bari can be left backstage. Map of Cary Arts Center

Black pants (no jeans), black jacket, white long-sleeved shirt, long red tie, black socks and black shoes. Girls may wear a white blouse with black pants or skirt.
